19th century English Coromandel Wood Vanity Beauty Box Dimensions - 12" wide x 9“ deep x 7" tall Up for sale is a beautiful 19 th century Victorian Coromandel vanity box by Mappin Brothers, Sheffield and London. Coromandel wood with intricate metal and abalone inlay in the top and front. Crystal bottles and boxes with silver lids, some engraved. Includes four mother of pearl handled tools. Includes a bone clothes brush marked with manufacturer’s name. Box features a hidden front drawer and side drawer. In good original condition, with beautiful vibrant grain. Signed on the top of the lower drawer "Mappin Brothers Sheffield & London". Feel free to email me any questions you have. CONDITION: Item is in good original condition, consistent with its age. There are a few chipping issues, pointed out in the photos, and some pieces of inlay are missing (see photos). Four bottles have contents remaining from previous owner. Three utensils are missing.
